Champion Grows Up
This is Champion. We hope it is a hen. Champion is one of the new (of many) feathered friends we have at Nickel-O. Wilson really likes to keep an eye on the birds!
Nickel-O Summer 2010
It's been awhile since I've said howdy- summer is flying by and I don't want it to end! After another great week of Summer Riding Program the staff relaxes, either in the saddle or bareback. I don't want summer to end!

Which way is the wind blowing?
I believe the wind is blowing out the winter weather and bring us all into spring. This same wind took Misty up to Horse Heaven on Friday February 19th. She was a true and elegant pony, we will all miss her, but no doubt she is giving pony rides up in Heaven as we speak, along with eating all the green grass she wants!

It was such a sunny day today At Nickel-O -not too much of this crazy snow still hanging around so I was feeling like a bold mini horse. So bold in fact that I put on a saddle and did some riding with a rider on my back. I am just growing up aren't I?!

This is Adam
Adam is growing up and behaving himself (I hope!) He likes to jump, and I am happy to stay on the ground. Now if Hokey Pokey wants to jump then I'll just have to find a smaller rider- do you think it's possible to jump Hokey?!
Good old summertime
Well actually this was technically Autumn but all the same, it's for these moments that we are practicing in this slushy winter time! It will all be worth it soon! Everyday is a bit longer and brighter!

What kind of horse?!
No silly-I'm no horse! I'm a cow- I live upstate near Lake Placid on Moon Valley Farms. But I visited West Nyack awhile ago.
K.C. Secret
K.C. being dropped off at her retirement home- (we should be so lucky). She is living large with a herd of compatible horses at Reyers Equine Retirement Farm. Look it up-it's a fantastic place. They are always looking for sponsors, and K.C. gave so much to all of us. I know she is very happy there but I bet she misses Nickel-O!
